Born Everett Omari McFarlane in Tallahassee, Florida, Midnite Blu is a genre-blending artist and producer whose sound bridges Southern hip-hop roots with soulful R&B melodies. The youngest of three, Blu found himself navigating challenges early on, turning to music as both therapy and transformation.

What started as an escape quickly became a calling. Raised on the sounds of Southern legends like UGK, OutKast, 8Ball & MJG, T.I., B.G., and Soulja Slim, Blu developed a deep respect for storytelling, rhythm, and authenticity.
In 2005, he began learning piano, crafting his own melodies and discovering his ear for emotion-driven production. By 2008, he was producing beats for local artists, and a year later, he stepped into the booth himself — refining his pen, sharpening his delivery, and evolving into the fully realized artist and producer he is today.
Midnite Blu seamlessly blends rap, R&B, and soul into a sound that feels both nostalgic and refreshing. Known for his smooth delivery, layered production, and introspective lyricism, he captures real-life struggles, love, growth, and personal evolution with honesty and depth. His music reflects lived experience — not just performance.
Having performed throughout Tallahassee’s local music scene, Blu has built a reputation for an electrifying stage presence and genuine audience connection. Whether delivering melodic hooks or sharp verses, he commands attention while maintaining authenticity. His versatility allows him to move effortlessly between raw hip-hop energy and emotionally rich R&B textures.
More than just an artist, Midnite Blu is a craftsman — dedicated to pushing creative boundaries while staying rooted in his Southern foundation. With a growing fan base, undeniable talent, and a relentless work ethic, he represents the next wave of artists who produce, perform, and tell their stories on their own terms. Midnite Blu isn’t just chasing the moment — he’s building a legacy.
